Last Day of 2013

Last day of 2013, and we made it through another year.  We have Brayden with us, but he's going to go off to play with Josie this afternoon.  Suzanne is to pick him up this morning.

Rose and Shirley and I have been watching season one of "Downtown Abbey."  Shirley ordered the series on DVDs from Amazon.   We watch an episode each evening after dinner and have become truly fascinated.  We have our favorite characters and likes and dislikes.  That's probably what we'll do tonight.  That is - watch another episode to usher in the New Year.

A staff nurse from Barnes Jewish Home Health just left.  She will come back again next week  for a final visit.  I missed a call from the Home Healthy physical therapy department.   Oops, I called them back and they have a therapist coming to see me this afternoon.  I keep busy for someone who seldom leaves the house.

Brayden has already announced that on his next visit he wants to go back to Skyzone, a wonderful play land for kids.  Since he will no doubt be back around his 11th birthday (February 12), you can bet he will get his wish.

Today is Catrina Abbott King's birthday.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CATRINA!!!!
