I've been at lake for over a week with no time to update the blog. Last weekend Doug, Suzanne, Luke, Josie, Goldman, Maddog, Scott and boys were here. They all(except for Jalen and Brayden) left and Rose arrived. Joe came on Thursday evening, took us to dinner (on Pete"s credit card), and spent the night. Shirley and her two adopted grandchildren arrived on Friday. We have to leave today and are hating to go.
Rose had never ridden or driven a waverunner before but soon beame very good at it. She got it down off the lift and was able to back it out AFTER she unhooked the front of it. It took her a bit to figure out why it wouldn't move.
Pete and Janet just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. CONGRATULATIONS!!!
They celebrated by taking their grandchildren to West Yellowstone. They're going back to West Yellowstone with more relatives in a couple weeks.
Joe's grandaughter, Lydia, and daughter, Lisa (Lydia's aunt), are going to Costa Rico for a month this summer. The rest of the family, especially grandpa, are probably going into mourning.
Joe made his usual trip to the cemeteries this Memorial Day. Some of his family, according to him) refused to ride in "Poppa's van" because because of the dog hair so they had to take two cars.
Margaret and Norm are spending a lot of their summer at their lot, as they call it. They take their camper there and leave it most of the summer and only go home to tend to Norm's garden, I think. I'll be glad when tomatoes come in.
I talked to my neighbors who work at Southwood Shores near here, and they say they are filling up fast, so make your reservations soon. We need RSVP's by the 10th. We hope everone can make it.
