We had some really bad news yesterday. Bernie, our oldest sibling, passed away sometime in the early afternoon. So far, we have few details about his passing or about arrangements for his services. Sue and I have been communicating with our siblings about plans to travel to Spokane. Margaret and Norm plan to drive to Kansas where they will join up with Sally (Bob's widow) and her friend Larry to travel on to Spokane. Sabrina, Margaret and Norm's daughter, has been very helpful with checking airline arrangments, even offering frequent flyer miles should we need them.

Joe was in Oklahoma on business, and we don't yet know his plans.
